TORNADO SEASON
You know it's tornado season when the TV starts showing the movie "Twister" every night...
Yesterday was awesome! Jacob, Joe & Jonas were over at our house yesterday evening when the sirens went off, so (of course) we ran outside to see if anything cool was happening. It was right after the wall cloud passed over our house & it was eerily dark & quiet. (I can't believe I didn't think to take a photo of the wall cloud, it was pretty impressive- like, 8 miles long & 1/2 mile wide of just black...) The clouds over our house were swirling in circles rather than blowing in one direction -it was weird- it looked like about four funnels were gonna drop right on top of us... I had the camera (just in case) so I snapped some shots of the sky- you can't really see it in the photos... maybe a few swirls...

AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! That's what I would have been saying if I had been there...I really don't do well with the storms...I might need to move...great pics though :)
Acually, you probably are the safest by the river- funnels rarely drop there... as Tulsa legend has it, that's why the indians settled on the river...

Paul and I were on the balcony (10th floor)- it was pretty awesome/creepy! Nice photos!
