COOKIN' OUT
We cooked out for the first time this week. Thought that would be a nice way to start the blog (with the exception of the mic check). It was pretty exciting, because we got the grill over 6 months ago from my parents as a wedding gift, & had never gotten the chance to use it. Angelene said she had a great idea for dinner earlier that day, & when I pulled in the driveway later I saw her out by the grill (it was a nice surprise). She couldn't get it started, though- I had to do it. We also had cornbread, homemade (whole wheat) mac & cheese & corn on the cob (which I cooked on the grill). It was great. The best part of the meal was definitely the mac & cheese....

Ha! This is so great! I'm so excited to see that this is up and running. That looked like a great time!
