RESCUED ANOTHER DOGGIE
There's been a lot of newsworthy stuff since our last post 7 months ago...
but we gotta break the seal with something, so how about this weeks' events:
We found a great doggie again in my parents neigborhood, & this one was way too cute to leave running around.
This would be number 3 for us after Harley & Flash.
-HARLEY-

-FLASH-

Of course, we all know that both of those stories had a happy ending (except for Flash loosing his best friend Pancho). We put up posters for Harley & his owners saw the poster & came & got him. And then Flash, of course- went out to live on the Ripley farm for a while before being placed in a nice country home.
The new dog is some kind of mixed breed.. He has the face of a terrier, but the body & posture of maybe a big pomeranian - or maybe a small husky of some kind. Who knows.
So now he's in our backyard & we're working on finding him a home. He had no ID or microchip, but seems way too pretty to be a stray... So we have info with the local vets just in case, although we know we can't keep him for long.
So he LOVES people & loves to play. Scooter's still not sure what to think. Sometimes I think Scooter thinks he's a human because he doesn't get much dog interaction besides the Lawsons & he's always looking at me like: "why is this dog running around like a chicken with it's head cut off & jumping on me?" But he's dealing with it ok. So we were just calling him "Doggie" until Heather H. came up with "Rickenbacker " (after asking me last night what kind of guitar The Edge was playing on one song in the "U2 3D" movie) - *sidenote: go see it on imax NOW. GO.
So Ricky is doing fine & hopefully soon he'll be with people who will love him as much as he'll love them - although that will be a whole lotta love...
