THE NETI POT

As seen on Oprah ... my mom and I were inspired by the positive reactions of folks that tried the neti pot- which is a natural way to cleanse your sinuses. After all the trouble I have had, it seemed like a good idea. However, it's also a pretty crazy thought— to pour water up your nose. My parents ordered me the neti pot and it just sat here for about a week. I had to get up the nerve to try it. So I randomly tried it tonight, and it was great! I did feel a slight discomfort, but I think I can improve my technique next time. It took a really long time for the water to travel from one end to the other, but for the first time in what seems like years— I can breathe through my nose, my ears aren't popping, and my sinuses don't hurt when I press down on them. It was pretty gross, though. There are a lot of videos on youtube about the neti pot, so I picked two to give you an idea. It ain't pretty, but whatever works. Imagine never having to take any more cold and allergy medicine! I am thinking of all the people I know who have really bad allergies ... like Paul, I am talking to you ... and so many other people.
